About Cobalt Link+
Cobalt Link+ is a flexible, cross-platform screen sharing and remote control solution.
This application enables the remote control of a mobile phone or tablet from a compatible display running Cobalt Link+ viewer software.
This makes it possible to use features on the mobile device in a dedicated setting, for example from a vehicle’s touch screen while parked or on the move. The content may include in-car navigation apps, music streaming, making and receiving phone calls, or even when in a safe location, playing games.
Communication between the display device and your phone may be conducted either wirelessly or via USB cable. Simply pairing them over Bluetooth is usually the first stage, or plugging a USB cable from the display into your phone’s USB port.
You can then access all your favourite apps in a safe, convenient and enjoyable way!
For a fully featured experience the app requests the following:
– use of Accessibility Service API to monitor which app is being used during a connection, both to both to request orientation lock for some types of app, and to filter drive-safe apps while driving.
– use of Overlay permission to control device orientation
