Violence and abuse against women and girls is frequent on streets, in public transportation and in other public places. Such occurrences restrict women’s right to mobility, discouraging their freedom to walk freely and move in public spaces of their choice. Such
violence also limits their access to essential services and adversely impacts their health and well being.
The Odisha State government under State Transport Authority Odisha developed an application “Moyatra Suraksha State VLTD Backend Application” to improve the safety and security of women.
Application has wide range of features which will enable state government to make eye view on all vehicles with following features:

2. History Route Playback
3. Route Planning
4. Route fencing
5. MIS reports
6. Command Control center Dashboard
7. Interface to all stakeholders
8. Various Alerts :
– All Basic Alerts
– SOS Alert in case of emergency
– Device Tamper Alert
– Non working device Alerts
– Over speed Alert
– Route violation Alert
– Permit violation alert
– Battery Disconnect Alert etc..
Application is Integrated with Vahan Dashboard as well as Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) system of Odisha.
In case of emergency when any person presses the Panic button which is installed inside vehicle direct feeds to ERSS system will be shared and the same will be monitored at command control center and immediate support will be provided.
To enable the vehicle with this feature STA Odisha has empaneled various manufacturers, Public can install device of their choice from any of the empaneled manufacturers and activate this device through Moyatra Suraksha Application from nearest VLTD fitment center.
Then the same device will be verified by an authorized officer and service will be activated.

In case the device stops functioning, the vehicle owner as well as manufacturer will be notified to rectify and restore service immediately.
